Join us for a meditative art making session. Tamara is an Art Therapy Practitioner who has used meditative art making successfully with workshop participants to teach creative methods for working through stress.

We will use markers, pastels, and other art materials to create abstract pieces. The focus is on the process to help you relax and get in the zone. Come with a friend!

Come along to our meetups to improve your drawing in a relaxed and social atmosphere and under the guidance of a professional instructor. Complete beginners to experienced artists all welcome.

Our 2 hour meetups are held in a different location each time, usually outdoors.

Bring your own materials. If you are a complete beginner all you need to start drawing pad and some pencils, which can be easily obtained online or from your nearest art supplies store.

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. The instructor is there to help everyone.

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

I really enjoyed it. I am a beginner with watercolor painting so this is just what I needed to get me started. First, I was motivated to buy the proper materials, then finally starting to put paint on paper! I got good instruction and I am looking forward to another class, a part 2 follow up class. I hope we can get that class on the schedule.

The event was a good casual class held at Panera. Initially several of us arrived without knowing where our instructor was at, but we called and found where to meet up. We learned a good portrait technique, and shared our work with each other. Overall the class was enjoyable, and a small group to connect with.
